• Kane’s absence means Southgate will give Tammy Abraham a full debut alongside the experience of Jamie Vardy. Marcus Rashford may be rested saved to start onTuesday.
• Gary Cahill missed training on Thursday and is a huge doubt for the reception of Germany, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek will reportedly make his full England debut in midfield.
• Jack Butland was set to start against Germany but broke his finger in training on Thursday and has withdrawn from the squad. Jordan Pickford will start instead.
• Fit again Danny Rose will be looking to make his first England appearance in just under a year, while Ashley Young is another option at left wing-back.

GERMANY

• With Manuel Neuer still out , Marc-André ter Stegen will start at goal in Wembley.
• Joachim Löw has confirmed that RB Leipzig left-back Marcel Halstenberg will make his debut here, while either Sami Khedira or Mats Hummels will captain the side.
